Steps 1 to 4 of 8 steps

Step 1

Seed obtained from the Citrus Foundation Block is sown in germination rooms. Strict selection is done to ensure uniformity and true to type rootstock production.

Step 2
Selected seedlings are planted into individual containers and kept in tunnels.

 

Step 3
Further selection for "off types" is done in tunnels

 

Step 4
Rootstock seedlings are then planted into 4l plastic bags in the shadehouses.
